Everyone wants to be Nintendo
Well isn't this interesting. While I heard awhile ago that Microsoft had its own idea for a wand that directed the action on TV, I didn't know Sony did too. Apparently all the video game companies had an idea for a controller that is almost exactly the same as the Revolution controller. The only main difference is that their controllers only worked in 2d, while Nintendo's works in 3d. Who copied who, you have to ask yourself. Perhaps Nintendo started working on their controller awhile back, and then Sony caught wind and was trying it out themselves. Then again I heard the Microsoft prototype was never meant for games, and perhaps Nintendo heard about that and wanted to try a gaming version. The one thing I want to make sure to say is this...People always complain that Nintendo keeps their ideas too secret. Nintendo always sites that they keep things quiet for so long, because they don't want their ideas to be copied. Now we have seem some proof that maybe that did happen. Maybe so, maybe not...either way it is still interesting.

It's simple. Both companies copied Nintendo. I saw this coming. I KNEW IT, I KNEW IT, I KNEW IT. Hopefully people who don't buy a Revo know that Nintendo had this INNOVATIVE IDEA FIRST.
See it's simple.
Oh, and Sony's "wand" will never amount to the Revolution's controller. I said nothing about Microsoft's "wand" because it's not really made for games. I'm sure that hackers will somewho hack the controller to play games anyway. Even then, no "wand" would amount to what the Revo's CONTROLLER can do.
For Everyone who doesn't read long things this is a summary of what was said:
1.Sony copied Nintendo and Sony's wand will suck...BADLY.
2.Microsoft has a wand that isn't made for games, but will be hacked to play a little better than Sony's "wand".
And 3.Nintendo will always be king of innovative ideas, whether they succeed or fail. I give all props to Nintendo.
When I start making games, I will choice to develop exculsively to Nintendo.
but these patons were from way before this controller was announced.
i don't care who copied who. I hope and pray that it was ninetendo that made it first, but even if they did steal it, they made it better, simpler, and more innovate than any of the other ideas. The possibilities are practicly endless with the revolution.
I agree with the first post's point #3, whoever wrote thatis way cool.
