Well...what do we have here?
Falafelkid has done some investigating and has hit upon something very strange. Take a look at the picture below.
Now take a look at a zoom in of the bottom portion of the controller and it's reflection.
Now take a look at a zoom in of the bottom portion of the controller and it's reflection.
If you look closely, it appears that in the reflection that a X and Y button are shown...that's kinda strange. Look at enhanced picture from Falafelkid's blog.

I believe that will be the final design. If you watch the controller teaser it shows this as well as the one held up by Iwata during the speech.
However the images that were released does not have this. So possibly the pictures are older than the video.
Yeah that is the only thing I could think of. I noticed that in the video also.
