Tony Hawk's American Sk8land Preview

Tony Hawk's American Sk8land on the DS is going to be one hell of a game. It seems like the developers chose the DS to try out some new, interesting ideas with the Tony Hawk series. First off, Tony Hawk's American Sk8land (THAS) will be fully 3d just like its console brethren. As far as the graphical style, THAS is going cel shaded, and it looks awesome. Lots of detail, lots of color, lots of fun. The touch screen will be put to good use, as you can set three of your more difficult tricks to preset buttons on the touch screen for easy access. Even the microphone will be used to record your own voice for when you crash, or pull an awesome trick. If that weren't enough, THAS will also be one of the first third party games to hop on the DS wifi bandwagon. While two player online has been confirmed, other modes are in the works too. Take a look at some screens below, and drool in anticipation until this game comes out!
