Sonic Riders hits the boards

Sonic is getting a lot of work lately, but that doesn't stop him from tackling yet another game. Just announced for all 3 home consoles is Sonic Riders. Sonic Riders will feature lots of your favorite characters from past Sonic games, and they will be racing on some sort of hoverboards. The races are put together by the nefarious Dr. Eggman *ROBOTNICK!* and he has thrown in many traps on the way. This sounds like Sonic R, a not so good racing game on the Saturn. Sega tells us to not worry though, this game will not make the mistakes that Sonic R did. Hopefully there will be some more news and screenshots soon.
