Metal Gear Kirby?

If you were at the special showing of Metal Gear Solid 4 for the PS3 in the Konami booth during TGS, you may have heard an interesting news tidbit. Hideo Kojima stated that this is the last Metal Gear game he is doing for the series (something he has said before Metal Gear Solid 2 & 3). He then next stated that Masahiro Sakurai (the creator of Kirby) should take over for Metal Gear Solid 5. Kojima and Sakurai were at the Konami booth together when Kojima made the comment, and while it was meant in a joking manner, Kojima holds Sakurai in very high regard. Likewise, Sakurai holds the Metal Gear Solid series in his heart as one of the greatest series out there. Like I said, the statement was a joke, but with both parties high regards for each other, you never know what can happen. If it DOES happen, this could mean good things for the Metal Gear Solid and Nintendo!
