Revolution codename gone?

One thing that I have noticed from staring at the beautiful new white Revolution is that...well...the word Revolution is nowhere to be found! Did they drop the codename? We know that Nintendo has a history of calling a current name a codename, but then keeping that name in that end anyway. This can be seen most recently in the Nintendo DS, which was the system's codename. So what is the system going to be called?! Start your guessing, but as for me and the sake of the site, I will continue to call it Revolution until another codename, or official name is announced.

Yeah, you are a bit off on this post.
Nitro became DS
Project reality became n64
Dolphin became Gamecube
and plenty of thers that don't immeditaly come to mind...
and i don't think Nintendo ever officially said NDS was the the code name for nitro people just made that assumption.

Q: Is 'Revolution' the final name of Nintendo's new console?

A: No. Nintendo confirmed at E3 2005 that the title 'Revolution' is a codename. A final name for the new console has not yet been selected. It should be noted, however, that the company said the same thing of Nintendo DS, which ultimately proved to be the handheld's official name.

Thats from IGN, not the quote I had in mind, but proves my point.
