We all hope so! It's been a long wait...since E3 i've waited every day...
As a user of Maya, a 3d graphics program, I am personally really uncomfortable using NURB's and find them much less straightforward than polygonal modeling and animation. But I don't know, if this announcement is true, maybe I'll see more tutorials into the secrets of NURB's. Though I doubt that Nintendo could discover the secret to making it efficient enough for video games. As far as I can tell, NURB's are really hard to render quickly.
Ah, ramble, ramble, ramble...I don't really know. But if this is true, there really won't be anymore jaggies.
Hey, ramble all you want! Its interesing information, and i appreciate your contributions to the comments, as well as everyone else.
