Christmas Comes Early This Year...What is it?

Early today I commented on a Nintendo event taking place in London tomorrow called Christmas Comes Early This Year... After trolling some messageboards and receiving and email, it looks like this event MAY not be what we think. The jury is still out, but this is a description of the event from someone *supposedly* attending it.

With all this talk of tomorrow's "confrence" and "revolution news" I think this may be the real deal. So please... no more of this "tomorrow Rev news!!!!11!one!1" there are plenty of topics floating around. Here's what I read: At the start of the month we got invites to a Nintendo 'Christmas Comes Early' party in London. A few days ago the Internet exploded with lots of excited fanboys stupidly speculating about a major Nintendo announcement at some point during this week. Today, we looked at our shiney invitation again and something hit us: this is the major event. Basically, Nintendo are hosting a party in London for some press members. There will be lots of heated discussion, beer and fun...but no major Revolution announcement or otherwise. So, not what you've all been waiting for, but rather a lovely pi55 up for us to go to on a rainy Thursday evening. Sorry folks, but we'll have a pint for you to drown your sorrows.

Looks like my idea of there being talk about the Christmas lineup wasn't too far off. Just to make sure though, we will see what actually happens tomorrow. *fingers crossed*

*Make sure you check out the NEW messageboards on the right, and don't forget to post your questions for this week's podcast!*

i agree with you. I think there won't be any information about the revolution. Maybe they will announce a SpaceWorld but the real Show will be at the TGS...and after...
